Load-Sharing Bridle

The MTXSR5 can be configured as a load-sharing bridle between suitable rated recovery points.

This allows the recovery load to be distributed between the recovery points of the stuck vehicle as part of a properly configured MAXTRAX Recovery System.

When used for vehicle recovery, MAXTRAX specifies the use of its Fuse Shackle within the recovery system and connection only to rated recovery points.

Tree Trunk Protector

The Static Rope can also be used as a tree trunk protector when a suitable natural anchor point is available.

The 5M length provides useful flexibility when wrapping the rope around a suitable tree and connecting it to compatible MAXTRAX recovery equipment.

Using a dedicated tree trunk protector helps create a more appropriate connection around a tree rather than attaching recovery equipment directly around the trunk.

The MAXTRAX Static Rope is manufactured from a combination of Ultra-High-Molecular-Weight Polyethylene (UHMWPE) and polyester.

The 5M MTXSR5 has a Minimum Breaking Strength of 28,900kg / 63,713lb and weighs approximately 1.80kg.

The MAXTRAX Static Rope has been designed and tested as part of the MAXTRAX Recovery System.

MAXTRAX specifies that the recovery system is comprised solely of MAXTRAX products and has not been tested with third-party branded recovery components. The manufacturer also specifies that a MAXTRAX Fuse Shackle must be used during vehicle recovery within the MAXTRAX Recovery System.

Recovery equipment should always be inspected before use, and only suitable rated recovery points and compatible equipment should be used.
